Im so excited!

We got the front windows done and plexi put in. The fan hole was cut out(fans not installed yet). We cut the bottom air flow hole. DH cut holes up top for the light sockets but we aren't sure exactly how to install the light socket now, DH cut the holes a little too big. We are a little lost lol

I couldn't install the fans because I though they came with a power supply but they did not so I need to find out where to get the plugs for them now. Another question, does it matter what type of wood used for the shelves inside? I still also need to find the spacers to put behind the fans.

My wafer thermostat should be here any day so then I can install that also. I hope I have this put together by this weekend.

I decided instead of doing the semi auto turner that I was going to install 3 maybe 4 hardware cloth shelves and for now incubate in egg cartons a tilt the cartons side to side and then down the road add 1 automatic turner at a time.

Im going to try to get a little more done on it today. Wish me luck lol.

Great plan, thank you for sharing.

not sure what to tell you on the sockets, ours are tight fitting with that heavy duty blue gunk that dries overnight and holds them in. can you wrap with black electrical tape until they fit snug and glue in with the blue stuff?

our fan plugs are from old house phones and one is from a alarm clock or something, we cut the plug ends off of our fans when we got them.

Cant wait to see it!

Two more of these coolers on the way!

One will be identical to this one and the other a hatcher! I cant wait, the fans came already!
Need a trip to lowes for some 2x3's, the plexi, duct tape, and a sheet of insulation!

I will be measuring and trying to find some plastic containers that will slide in the cooler slots on the side for use in the hatcher!
I am sooooo excited to make more!

we have duck eggs coming as well as HRIR this week and I have to use the smaller coolerbators for them, need to set some WFBS for an order and I dont have room!
so another is MUCH NEEDED!
