DIY CABINET COOLER INCUBATOR How we did it and TEST RUN Ready Set GO!

I just heard they are not only really loud during the day but 24/7 and my neighbors in the woods will have my head! lol bummer! I need more acres of land to put more distance between neighbors!

Ours are still too young to make a lot of racket, but I don't think they are noisy at night. Guineas are the same, they make an awful racket when disturbed, but are otherwise quiet at night.

Of course the definitive answer would be from the people over on the pea forum. I'd believe them over me ;)

oh Craigslist, where were these before! ha ha ha

I blew a 90 watt bulb overnight, temps are still good, there is only a half tray of eggs in it. I think it may get shut down for a while, since the great molt started AGAIN with the brahma and CCL pens, plus I am chickened out, yes I said that. Harmony has fought broody hens, molt, more broody hens with her serama all summer, finally getting some eggs this week again, she incubates them flat in the reg coolerbator and rolls them by hand for turns, she gets a few mals but serama seem to get out well anyways. plus its getting too cold to ship in another month anyways.

thats not good @Sally Sunshine

im not doin to well atm on the hatchs part, keep having heating issues but redesigning and gona be setting up another incubator, this time using a double freezer, bottem part will be incubationand the top will be hatching,

but this time im going to be letting the fan turn off when the heating is off, as i think this is pushin to much cool air down when the fan isnt on..

what do you think ?

how cold does it get where u r? im hoping we gey some warmer weather till nov 2d
