Hey All,
Just sharing my coop design. I wanted to build something under $50 and here is what I came up with:
The roof opens ups for access and has two nesting areas (unlike the 3 mentioned in the original design). It has a trap door that leads to the bottom which can be closed to make more room if necessary. I was worried the chicks wouldn't be able to figure out how to get inside but after day 3 they were experts
So far has held up great in New York weather and have kept the chick safe from raccoons, foxes, cats, etc.
