DIY door opener Help!

My coop is a large insulated shed. A storm door for me in the center and each side for these chickens and those chickens. Instead of “doors” we installed 2 windows we found on clearance. We pull open their windows then push them closed at night.
OK! so my favorite thing is to design stuff using things that aren’t meant for what I’m building.
Idea!
Mount a small garage door opener on the ceiling and have cables pull the windows up/open. But it close they would have to be weighed?
Or
A linear gear that went up and down on a remote? I can only find push open window gears.
