DIY electrolyte mix for water?

I initially bought some sav A chick electrolyte mix to get started but would like a more economical solution for long term. Any DIY mix recipes you can recommend? I have well water, so minerals should not be a problem. I'll periodically add some ACV as well. My chicks are probably about 3 weeks old and still in a brooder, but will eventually be outside and free range some when they are older.

Electrolyte mixes are meant for short-term use, not for weeks. If you read the label, they are mostly salt, and not healthy except as a temporary pick-me-up. Mary

Thanks for the clarification, so I don;t need to use it with my new chicks as long as they seem normal?

I bought 3 packets of stuff for 3 gallons for 2 dollars I thought It helped a lot, you might think I am crazy but could you try Gatorade? it is supposed to be same stuff as those packets but for humans, I might try it I just started 50 meat birds

folly is correct, I was a wondering why someone would need that much electrolyte

I used it for the first 3 days and it made them much more active and helped a lot, I would use the first couple days when they are stressed but thats it
