I mix my own feed with organic grains & seeds and I ferment it, then before feeding I mix in salt, chili powder, dried milk and garlic powder. I happen to have some broccoli greens that I will chop up and mix in as well. I will do that with baby spinach sometimes too. I always give them my kids' left over eggs if they don't go to the dogs.Hi there, anyone have any mixes of human foods they give to their chickens? for instance, I have one where I take Yogurt, chopped broccoli, and chopped grass and mix it together.... Mine love it too! if I stand too close, I get squirted with watermelon juice!! hahaOn hot days, I refrigerate a watermelon, cut it down the middle. Place it out and watch the action! They are all like old time telegrapher's ticking away! Beep beep beep beep!

That is a great idea! I just got two, small very yuck watermelons-they taste like zucchini. I think I will try this with my last one! Thanks farmer Connie!During heat waves, I place the Mellon in the freezer for a few hours! It is an icy treat in brutal heat!
