That's a great idea and all.. I started this thread with re-purposing in mind vs buying commercially available materials. Reduce reuse recycle.!

Please post a link/pic info for grit feeders....like what I've seen but mine are still in a brooder...thinking I'll hang something. Ideas appreciated. You know they turned the small container over within 30 seconds of me setting it inside unattached.

I'm with you -- pvc pipe is expensive. And the smaller the piece you get, the more expensive it is! I like the recycled ideas in this thread.
