I saw a video on an incubator like this just without the humidifier in there and i get a stead temp of 99f-100f and 50-60%, humidity what do yall think is this good enough? I have had it running for almost the whole day only some tape started to melt so i put tooth picks instead and the cardboard doesn't get too hot but there is a wierd smell and i dont know if its the light bulb or the water from the humidifier PS ignore the high and low on the thermometer this was a photo i took earlier in the day when i first turned it on

I personally would opt for using a Styrofoam cooler over cardboard, and get away with less wattage. Do you have a dimmer switch to regulate the wattage output, which would regulate the temperature?
You can always try your box and see how things turn out. Don't opt for too many eggs on the maiden voyage, and remember you need to turn them frequently.

I havent thought of Styrofoam but no i dont have a heat dimmer but in terms of the cardboard i have got it down the temperature is a constant 99-100f
