So I got my newest rabbit a few days ago. My current doe is not a fan of the cute little girl just yet.... So I need to build a new hutch. [IMG]
I got this for $20 at a local thrift store, it gets delivered today! I'm thinking to take the wood out of the middle of the doors and replace it with wire . Then put a couple floors and ladders (maybe a bunny hammock?)
What do you guys think?! Any ideas?
It's for billy the half rex half lionhead bun[IMG]

I have bunnies too. I think you could rip the shelves of, build knew ones and put a few ramps in. I would attach an x-pen to it though, because it seems small. You should try bonding your bunnies so they take up less space. Are they spayed?

I forgot to take a before picture but imagine a $5 water damaged dresser

I started tossing the useless drawers away [IMG]
(for future fire wood) and peeling the old lanoleum or some terrible top layer [IMG]

Then sanding!!!! Until the sander died... [IMG]

    I shall finish sanding tomorrow!

Looking good! You can attach linoleum to the flooring, in case of any accidents and easy clean up.

Looks great so far! Maybe you could put U-nails in the corner to attach a litterpan to?

Today I finished sanding and painting! Make sure to use pet friendly paint in case your rabbit chews on stuff. [IMG]

Looks good! My bunnies would chew that up in an instant:). Had to replace about $200 worth of T.V wires, and the entire base molding in "their" room. Naughty little buggers:)
