I didn't know you have olandsk… at least I don't remember knowing! Me too!!! Where did you get them from!?! are they laying?
Also Im wanting to learn how to hand spin and am wondering which it is to use, the roving or the fleece. Completely a new project for me and I have no Idea.

I am looking for Olandsk Dwarf. I don't have them yet. At the moment I only have Olive Eggers. I have some more serious skills (art related) that I can barter for some pricey eggs but I am moving my art stuff to another room so I haven't made an offer to do any large portraits.

You want the rovings to start with. When you get into it more you can buy raw unwashed fleeces or washed fleeces. You can send them out to a micromill to be processed into rovings for you. You can buy hand combs if you like working it historically but over time these are hard on the wrists. You can use a hair brushe (the plastic brisles with the balls on the ends) to fluff a washed fleece into a cloud and spin from the cloud. You can dye with KoolAid and Wilson's Cake Dye as well as some lovely professional dyes. You can use the combs to blend different colors of fleece for custom heathered rovings or you can send your dyed fleeces to the micromills to be blended.

I was givin 20 Huge black trash bags of materiel's Quilting supply's and 10 boxes 100S of books. Its like 60 years of stuff has been well tookin care of the lady that gave it all to me has quilted her whole life and her mother before her. I am going through and re-bagging now will post pics if anyone is interested I will never use all this I wont be able to ship all at once.
