Chicken nest curtains are coolMeasure the opening of the nest box. Cut two pieces of fabric to about the width of half the opening and hem the edges of the fabric. Attach the curtains to the outside of the nest box with staples or Velcro fasteners. Attach a piece of ribbon to either side of the opening and tie the curtains open with the ribbons

I put this on the Okie thread, and it was suggested I post it here...
Zip ties, take out containers, water nipple and some scissors--my make shift "broody didn't like the new chicks I got for her" brooder. There's also a towel and heating pad under the milk crate and a anti-fly food tent (netting) to keep 'me in the crate.

I also put eye hooks in the floor and used small bungie cords to keep the feeders from swinging when bumped.
