Thank you Perchiegirl and Primrosemom!! I have bungies on it now but was curious as how other ppl do secure them. I have a tarp covering about 1/4 of my run top and half way down the side now and it lifts now and then with the wind but it's as tight as I could get it. I plan to move it down on the west side of run to make a wind break before the snow flies.

Can you fit it flush to the run and zip tie it instead of flaps for the winter?

Eggcellent.... you could even put two or three holes this size... i Have seen waterers done this way with a float valve from a toilet.... clean of course LOL.

That would be good to have at each chicken or livestock water pans/buckets/tanks. Inexpensive enough to have one at each location.

Yup it's an large ice cream bucket which I have many of, all free from the ice cream place. Restaurants etc always have lots of buckets and will give them to you if you ask ( usually )

How far down from the holes do you fill the feeder? Just wondering if you loose feed if you fill it to the bottom of the holes.
