Diy waterer? Help

Woundering of someone on here can help me.
I found this clip and want to make one but cannot find what the middle joiner is!?? Everything is open, it needs to be closed to attach float valve to.

I like the idea of having the garden hose attachment.
Also will it work off a 20L bucket gravity feed??
If I can't find the middle peice I'll have to work out how to connect directly to float valve. I've brought some off aliexpress.

You mean the middle piece that is open on the top and shows the water? That is just a length of PVC pipe that has the top cut off it. If you are asking about something else, let us know.

No the join peice that the float valve is attached to.
