So these chicks are between 5-6 weeks (and about to get a housing upgrade because they have started roosting on top of the warmer plate (which isn't even plugged in anymore) and try to jump out of their box when I take the screen off the top!
They also don't want to hold still for my photoshoots.
I got the DNA results last Friday, as suspected, we have one rooster and one sweet little hen. It is obvious now which is which. I think he will be a handsome rooster though! I wish I knew what kind of mixes they are, even though it doesn't really matter, it is interesting! It will be a forever mystery. The hen appears to be some kind of Golden Comet (already a mix, I know).
