I don't think it looks like a pea comb, but I am not expert. This is one of my EE's when she was younger showing her pea comb.

Your girl looks a lot like my BSL, with the red in her chest.

OK. Well, it doesn't really matter, LOL!

Her Daddy is a red Arucana rooster, so I guess that's where the red comes from? Mom is Australorp.

That makes sense on why she would be black and red...lol keep us updated and let us know as she grows older and her features are more defined.

Unfortunately your girl has a straight comb

. She's most likely going to lay you pale brown eggs. BUT, don't lose all hope, it can sometimes happen that the blue gene asserts itself without the pea comb. In that event, it would most likely express along with the brown gene from the Australorp, and give you green eggs.

Mostly I just hope they look different from the others! I like to be able to tell who laid what.
