do all cochins offspring have frizzles

i am confused about one thing do all cochins even if there smooth have some frizzled offspring

Please help me

No, frizzling is a gene that can occur in any breed, but is not part and parcel of any. Cochins and polish are probably the most common frizzles, but there are plenty of others.

The gene is dominant, so if one parent has the genes, about half the offspring should be frizzled. Then there is a recessive frizzle modifier gene that reduces frizzling to where it is apparently not apparent in only one dose.

ok i have ? about color too i have a White cochin rooster and a mottled cochin hen that is frizzled can you tell me the out come of the young from them

I don't know if cochins typically carry dominant or recessive white. If recessive, then black. If dominant, white. Mottling is recessive so the offspring will be split for the gene, but not show any themselves, unless of course the white also carries mottled.

well one of the white hens have some stray black feathers so i was thinking they had a blue cochin in one of the past generations and they all come from the same breeder.
