I just got what are suposed to be EE chicks (2 days old) but they don't have green legs. Does that mean they are not EE chicks?

Here are some pics. It's hard to see the legs though. Pretty much look yellow to me. but they are only 2-3 days old.

sometimes their green legs need to develop color. mine didn't have bright green legs for a few weeks. if you can post pics we can help. probably if they were sold as EE's then they are

To answer your question, not all EE's have green legs. bethandjoeync is correct though. They can develop the "willow" color on their legs as they get older.

I also have an EE that has yellow legs but all the EE traits. Sometimes the chicks legs are yellow but turn green/slate as they get older.

For the most part, this is true. There is still a lot of folks out there that question what an Easter Egger is. Some
say that they are "mutts" and that you can mix anything with an "Ameraucana" or an "Araucana" and get a EE.
I personally LIKE the ORIGINAL birds that came over here.

Did you buy them from a hatchery, or a person? All of them have feather coloring that I have seen often with EE's, except
maybe the one with spots. That one almost looks like a California White.

I had 3 dark green eggs that I incubated. Only 1 hatched and it is white with yellow legs. So I think EE's can have other color legs than green. Since I watched this one hatch..lol
