Do all hens do the submissive squat?

I have 4 Buff Orpingtons and 4 Barred Rocks. At about 18 weeks, the Barred Rocks started doing “the squat and stomp”. (And have started laying.) Three of them do it when I get anywhere near them. Only one of the Orpingtons have, and only when I reached down for her. Sort of an “o.k... you caught me!”

Today as I walked up and reached down to touch them, she gave me the "Squat" again.
Also being very talkative. I call the "Squatter" "She" as I have not named the 3 of them separately. Funny thing. I just call them the "Chiclets". They're the little squad of 3 and stick together always. The "Girls".
They follow me around the garden and help me weed and occasionally Murder a Marigold.
Waiting, waiting, waiting for the big day.
