Do all hens lay eggs?

I have two hens both about eight months old black sex link chickens. One has been laying eggs for about two months and the other one I do not think has ever laid an egg.

Nope! I have a Black Aussie that has never laid. She is over a year old now and should have started months ago. Funny thing is, I was going to cull her with the last batch of roosters but got the wrong bird....killed one of my good layers! un I'll get her next time, though! Eating her fool head off and never producing a thing!

She is a sweet friendly bird and has become a pet

So has mine, her name is Fannie and she follows me everywhere! But, unfortunately, I can't afford to feed an extra pet, so if she doesn't produce, she's gotta go!
