Do "Americana" chicks come in wildtype?

So I went down to the feed store to pick up a few Americana chicks for my broody hens (they had just arrived this morning).

When I saw the chicks they were all wild type, and I asked the guy if he was sure they were Americana, he assured me they are but now I am having doubts. Do Americanas/Easter Eggers come in wild type patterned chicks? The dark chick is a Golden Laced Wyandotte, the other three wild type are supposed to be Americanas.

I believe all Ameraucana have slate colored legs. Most Easter eggers start out the color of yours. They are probably EE.

Thank you! I know they are a mix of some sort and not pure Americaunas, I just wanted to make sure they weren't Brown Leghorns or some other entirely different breed.

I am happy with EE's.

They look like the Americana chicks I got A few weeks ago. They were labeled Americana/Easter acres. I think their Easter Eggers though. Their legs were a darker yellow at first but now have turned more of a slate color. But they had the wild colors like that when I first got them.

Two have yellow legs, the third I am not sure about. EE or Americana Mix is fine, I just worried they may be a totally different breed altogether.

I really do Believe you have Easter Eggers. Look just like mind did. Mine had yellow legs at first but now that there are four weeks old they have turned to that gray green color. But when I first got them they look just like the little guys you have running around. They look so much different now than they did for weeks ago. A lot of darker feathers. They remind me of little owls. My daughter thinks they look like hawks

They are EEs. Breeders sell Ameraucana and are only in accepted (sop) types.

You will have pretty eggs from them!
