Uh-oh, those look to me like cornish crosses, meat birds. How old are they? It's possible they're not, but that's sure what they look like to me. If you are intending on keeping them for their lifespan, you may be in for some unpleasant surprises, as cornish cross do not live very long generally.

Darn. The white ones look like meat birds to me, too. Not sure about the last pic, but I am 99% sure about the white birds. Sorry for the bad news.

Yeah, that's what I thought.

I've stared and stared, and they sure look like meat birds to me. I'm sorry for the bad news! I know how easy it is to get attached to those little guys. The cornish cross can be very friendly and sweet, so that just makes it sadder, especially when you just plan on keeping them for their lifetime. We have them at our sanctuary here and some of them have even made it up to six years old, but that's on a very restricted diet.

Cornish cross don't really lay much. Maybe a little, but not much at all. I'm not sure what you should do with them, to be honest... I'd offer to take them with my farm animal sanctuary group, but you're across the country.

The last picture is definitely not a meat bird, though. I can't see if it has feathered feet or not to say what it is, but regardless it's definitely not a meat bird.
