Plus 10.

I didn't think I would ever use one. But after demo-ing it at parties making salsa, I bought me one and I use it all the time!

I think of the way I used to chop stuff for potato salad, taco's, nuts for ice cream, everything!!!!! If this one ever wears out I am buying another FOR SURE.

I've got an ancient, plain old chopper that my grandma gave me for christmas many, many moons ago. It's old and dull and a pain in the rump to clean but by gosh I just can't seem to break down and buy a new one for some reason...

I have one also but I rarely use it. My younger son cuts up items with it but I would rather just use my butcher knife. Once you know how to use a knife there is no difference in speed or difficulty between the knife and thingamabob from pampered Chef(I don't know what it is called either)

Honestly, I think that mine was a waste of money. I know that a lot of people love it but a knife works just as well.

If you have kids, though, you can let them use it to help you in the kitchen.

love my pampered chef stuff...i became a consultant just for the stuff you get!!! I did my 4 shows and then figured out I was NOT a good saleperson.
The pampered chef chopper is awesome!!!

I have both the pampered chef one and the tupperware one! I like the tupperware one better!
I use it for chopping nuts, when I don't want to get my kitchen aide food processor dirty!(Processor was a gift, and I use it a lot! I process everything in it for my salsa except tomatoes, which I still hand chop! ) If anyone know something that dices maters without making them mush, let me know!!!!
If you buy it let us know what you think!

I have a slap chop. My DH saw it in walmart and promptly bought it LOL It works ok, he uses it more than I do though. I'm a cutting board and knife kinda gal but my DH seems to have fun using that thing. I have a hard time opening it to clean it. We do cut larger quantities of fruit and veggies with by tossing the food into a large bottomed plastic bowl and then using the slap chop directly in that bowl.

Michelle who would have rather spent that 20.00 on treats for my ducks and chickens ;-)

I've owned 3 or 4 versions of it over the years. Always end up going back to a good chef knife and cutting board. There is a certain pleasure in using a good knife adeptly that gadgets can't come up to, for me.
