Mine is in my sig, too. It has evolved from a sales tool when I was active on Etsy, to more of a blog about our life as a family. Of course, the chickens are a part of that. Today's post was about the eggs we got in the mail, and our hopes that at least one will be good for 4H.

One of the best things you can do is just write. Try to write daily, or if not, every 2-3 days. It is good practice, and it will get better. Keep your audience in mind, too. If you have a blog about chickens, write mostly about chickens. Add in some other fun stuff that the audience would like to read, too. Some ideas might be recipes, gardening, dealing with neighbors, pet health, etc.
