do babies always get this attached?

the babies are still so cute. I think they look up to me as their surrogate mama. they like to climb up on my lap and hide under my arm (funny I typed wing first) yikes. I am slowly turning........bawk bawk bawk.

if I sit on my knees and bend forward to pet them, they climb up on my lap and lay under my chest, I think they feel safe and secure. and they instantly fall asleep. then I hate to move to wake them.

I too would love to have more coops, not sure if hubby would go for it, might have to find a cheaper more affordable way to build coops for chickens, the last one set us back about 800. but, I think I could handle more birds, haha.
