Do bantam and silkie eggs hatch earlier than standard eggs?

OK, sorry everyone. I figured it out. I play "musical incubators" and move the eggs around.

Although I had calibrated the temperatures of the hova's, I did it again this morning (with 4 different thermometers/hygrometers) and two are running 102.

No wonder they hatched early! Stupid me. I wanted to post and let people know that they are right the temperatures are too high.

The other incubator is at 99.5-100 So that is why the other eggs hatched at the appropriate time.

Live and learn

I hatched Silkies and Bantams together and all of the eggs hatched on Day 19.. I don't know if this helps at all but all of my regular chicken eggs hatch at Day 21 or Day 22...

This is my first time hatching silkies- I mean any chicken at all. They have not hatched yet but tomorrow is day 21 and none have hatched so far...
My humidity is higher than what it should be and so I am a little worried.

Howdy Silkies4Life....

The majority of posters on this thread have not been around since 2011-2013 and, for that reason, you might be best off posting on the Incubating & Hatching Eggs Forum or
the Silkie Thread.

Sorry that I am not able to help you further but I only have experience with hatches under a broody hen.

Best of luck with the hatch, I do hope you have some success!
