Do bantams grow more slowly than standards?

Huh. Interesting. So will the hens start laying earlier than standard ones? Would we need to be watching for broodiness/chicks this fall?

Most bantams do start laying around 5-6 months of age. Broodiness depends on more or less the individual. Though some breeds of bantams are more likely to be broody such as Silkies, Cochins, and Old English Games. So it looks like most of yours are likely to be broody with exception of your Sebrights.
