Do Bantams Hatch Earlier Than Standard Size Chickens?

I have six of them! I took two out of the incubator and they just sat there. So I stuck them back in... Any tips? I have never used an incubator before. I did decrease the temp slightly.

Leave the chicks in the incubator for the first day and then move them to where they can move around, eat, and drink. Good luck if there are more to hatch.

I moved them out this morning and they are doing GREAT!!!!! I have them in a separate box than the other chicks, and they are eating and sleeping fine. we had a little problem with the heat lamp but I fixed that. My grandpa has had lots of bantam chicks die by drowning in their waterer so I have been dipping their beaks in water every 30 minutes. is that all right?

Dip their beaks just a few times until you see them drinking on their own-then stop. Be careful to not dip their beaks to deep in the water. Should they get water in their nostrils and breath it in, death is likely.

They are all doing great still! They can drink on their own and they are doing a lot of it! They scratch all of their food into their bedding but they are still as loveable as ever!
