Do Bantams In General Tend To Live Longer Than Standards?

I read somewhere that bantams live longer than standards, and that they also lay longer. Is this true, or just specific to some birds that have longer lifespans?

The oldest bantam I've ever had was a Mille Fleur d'Uccle hen...we called her "Grandma".... I had shown the breed for several years.....Grandma had been to 21 shows and had placed well in 20 of those shows....the only reason she didn't place in the 21st show was that she dropped most of her feathers (moulted) on the way to the show.....she was 9 years old and still placing at shows.... The oldest Bantams I have know are some Pyncheon hens that are 6-7 years old.... here is a 6 year old Pyncheon hen....(blurred color pattern)...but still nice type and still laying.....
