do blue/green eggs taste good

We have 4 hens that lay brown eggs and 2 EEs that lay light blue eggs. Honestly, they all taste the same, although the light blue eggs seem "prettier" probably because the color is so different. I agree that it depends on what your hens eat...that makes the biggest difference in how the eggs taste.

Everyone knows blue/green eggs are better than brown or white eggs, geesh.

OK, the first time I tried a green egg, I was a bit hesitant. Turned out after 1 bite I couldn't tell them apart.

Hi! Our daughter swears that the green eggs taste better. DH and I taste no difference. Yesterday I gave her the wrong egg, by mistake...and she actually knew it wasn't her egg! So, there you have it from the mouth of a 7 year old!

yup - tasty.

Actually - I think all eggs are tasty and I cannot tell the difference when eating a white versus green egg once the egg is cracked and the shell removed.

I think the color is a feature of the chicken and is a natural dye just like the brown egg.

I have customers that insist on brown eggs only.....same feed same conditions as the white eggs but it is funny they want brown.

I keep thinking of that episode of Little house and the Prairie when Ma was selling eggs to the mercantile Mrs Olson who insisted brown eggs were less valuable than white so the next day she came in with a basket of white eggs having removed the brown color. I wonder what she used to do it? Vinagar maybe?
