Do Buff Brahmas Crow?

My cockerels all sounded like they were trying to clear their throats or were practicing being refined gentleman saying, "A-hem!" But I'll never forget a precocious six-week old cockerel's first squeeky attempts at crowing. A very shrill "Eee-ee-ee-ee-oow!"

My young cockerel sounds like Tarzan.

One of my buff Brahmas had a crow that sounded more like an owl. Deep, so deep. They are so slow to mature, and they are so worth it. I just thought of something funny though… If he were a turkey he would be a tom, and then he could be Tom Honks.
