Do certain people not get posts answered around here-meat chicks quest

I have never raised Meaties, and as of yet, have not raised any chicken for food, only eggs.

Did you also ask this question on the Meat Bird section? They might have better answers for you.

There was a thread exactly like your posted at the same time I answered that one thinking it was the same double post-sorry:-( I got meaties in teh middle of Summer 5 week sold now-no heat lamp needed it was in the 80-90's though any lower than that I would have used it and decreased it 5+ degrees every week

Patience, please. Some days are slower than others around BYC. If you don't even have the chicks yet, there is time to get your answers. I didn't answer because I don't know that there is any difference in meat chicks or dual purpose as far as feathering goes.
