Do chickens eat snails?

When I see them eat snails, I think of Bilharzia. I would discourage that if you live in an affected area.

Mine suspiciously look at them. Peck a bit, but no eating. Too bad, I have lots of them.

Was really surprised this morning, having collected lots of snails and slugs out of the veggie garden last night, that none of my chickens or ducks were interested in them!
it was the first time we have tried to feed these heritage birds, the previous Isa Browns loved them.

So far the only thing our girls won't eat is mushrooms.

My birds love escargot. Hate slugs. But... towards the end of the season, they will lower their standards and eat slugs also. Will not, ever, remotely consider eating potato bugs or squash bugs.
