Do Chickens Get Dandruff??

Looks like today is Chicken Dandruff Day. LOL! I was like Ginacbird. I thought our little chickens were being invaded by some pest that made them itch. . Nice to know it is a totally normal part of them getting their big girl feathers. . Thanks!

So today I went out to my chickens and a couple of them had little white flakes on their feathers. It looked a lot like dandruff. I was wondering if that is normal and if not, what can I do about it. Thanks!

We have had chickens for 5 years and their all old and crusty cuties.
