Do chickens like to be held when they are sick?

:)Call me crazy, but my sick rooster acts like he kinda likes to be held? However, he may just feel so crummy, he doesnt care. He fights me when I feed him though.

Just a thought.....Im still a newbie at this chicken stuff

I suspect if the bird doesn't like being held normally, he's probably just so tired and crummy feeling that he doesn't care about it right now. Poor little guy.

I am so sorry your rooster is ill... some of mine like to be held normally and some react like I've been waiting all day to hack off their heads.

Hope your guy is all better very soon. If you aren't sure what's wrong with him or what might help him get over whatever's ailing him I'd say you've come to the right place. Check out "dieases and injuries" OR post his symptoms and fairly soon people will make suggestions. Best of luck.
