Ok, weird question I know, but there is justification! I will be starting my flock with 4 bantam chickens. I have a coop, but have been playing around with run ideas that would be inexpensive and easy to make. Then I saw the trampoline! If I put chicken wire around the bottom frame, they would have a ton of scratching room! I am just not sure how much actual direct sunlight it gets down there. Is this important! Thanks for your help!!

They do not need direct sunlight. As long as they have a lit environment they should fine. The black top on Trampolines let light through but they provide shade as well.

Agreed, it'll be no different than using pet mesh for the roofing. Your birds shouldn't have any problems.
