do chickens need to be wormed

I have seen several posts mention worming and was wondering how often and how early do you start this and what do you use?

I would say they need to be wormed every six months if they are free ranging and out on the soil eating worms. Worms have worms a lot of the time. Some people use Ivermectin for cows, only a small amount. Raw pumpkin seeds are a natural wormer
