Today I was feeding my chickens crickets and when I opened the bag the rubber band fell on the ground and one of the chickens grabbed it faster than I could. She ate the rubber band and so now I am wondering if that will pass?
Does anyone have any suggestion or knowledge about what I should do?
I called my vet and they don't handle animals that produce food and could give me no info.

One time my rooster ate a water balloon elastic thing. I was sooo worried, but just let it run through him. I did nothing. They free ranged at the time and pooped everywhere so I never inspected the poop. But he was fine and lived a whole 2 years til he became a butt and made me, my MIL, my husband and two kids bleed from multiple spur attacks all different time periods in his life.

Thank you for your input, I am hoping mine does the same.

I'm just gonna tell you the same thing the doctor told my mother when I ate a quarter: if she passes two dimes and a nickel then you can worry
So funny thank you very much. They never found the marble I swallowed!!!
Thank you!
