do chickens snore

so my buff orphinton is a sleep next to me on my bed and ebery now and then she makes a noise kind of like a soft snore / purr is this normal or should i be worried

They more like purr. Why the heck do you have it in your bed. That just isn't sanitary

my chickens are not allowed on my bed all the time but cherrios the last 2 days for some reason has been bullied by the other chickens and kind of on her own so when she jumped on my bed and layed down next to me i felt bad for her and let her stay she has been my shawdow all day to day. I dont know why my othere chickens are picking on her so bad she is not acting any dirrent other then she layed her first egg yesterday but teh 2 that are picking on her the worst have been laying for over a week.

That could explain it. Hens can get a bit moody when they one into lay. I used to let my chickens sit on the bed with me sometimes. As long as they don't make a mess it's fine by me. I like their company

My hen comes to see me when she comes in...she walks in thru the door.......my grand daughter has a pet chicken in her room but in a cage...as far as unsanitary...not unsanitary if you clean up after the chicken...thank god for washing machines...
