Do chickens...

Go Angie n Maine, you rebel!

I personally prefer the word "toot" to "wind".
Oh, and as far as burping, I've never heard that, but I did have a hen once who gurgled every time she drank water. Very cute!

LOL. I say toot, too. Must be a "Northern" thing.

I just think it's funny that that word is being put in the same ranks as some other 4 letter words.
Oh well, it's Friday, been a long week, if I can't have fun here, where can I have fun?

I wouldn't think that chickens would toot. They don't have stomach but a gizzard, and I think most toots are made in the stomach in humans and other mammals. They do have a small and large intestine. I'm not a MD or a Vet, so I really don't know where toots are formed...only where they escape through. LMBO!!

I know! I had to bypass the system with F..A..R..T after THREE tries. Wonder what other words will get censored? Could get really interesting...

Sorry. Back to burps...and you were saying?

I have to say I had such a laugh reading this thread that I totally forgot what the question was LOL

but I sure hope none of my chickens burp or " toot" I live with a breed of dog that is famous for " tooting" up a storm and god knows I dont need my hens doing it LOL

Am I slow? Did the message board do this again or did you edit it Angie?

I thought somebody posted on the EZboard way back when that chickens can't "pass gas"" (using another term, of course)
and that's why we shouldn't feed them beans.

Spottedcrow, do you remember anything about that?
