do chicks always peep before hatching

Try not to handle them now. It could take 24 hours. Just leave it to mum. Make sure there are no water dishes deep enough for them to drown in.

There are lots of Aussie 's on here. If you have some pebbles or marbles you could put them in the water. Just gives chicks something to stand on if they fall in. In the big pen I put a brick in the waterer. Have you got some chick starter ready? Just asking cause there's not much open on Sunday.
