Do chicks talk in their sleep?

At 11:00 pm the other night on of my hens started clucking the egg song. I grew concerned that a predator was nearby. But I checked on them and everything was fine. The hen that was clucking had stopped (I have a camera on them).

So I’m wondering: do chickens talk in your sleep like other animals do (dogs, people)?

Only if they have particularly strong dreams.

I think so.
I've had them shift about and cluck, sometimes alarm-like calls too.
They certainly dream because they go into REM, and maybe they have nightmares!
