Do chipmunks eat chick food?

Doesn't have to be a giant chipmunk, my older dog Rocket sleeps a lot. I think a bunch of little chipmunks could try to nibble him to death.

Why not set up the chipmunks there own food station? Away from the coop? Distract them from the layer and give them something just as yummy. As a wildlife rehaber I hate the thought of removing a munk from its "home" as it is possible it has already started to nest and store much needed foods. Its breeding season for them so its only looking to have enough nutrients to store for reproduction. Hope you get it all worked out. Not to scare you or anything but given a chance a it will steal and eat eggs.

dang! i'm glad we don't have chipmunks around here! sounds scary!

My chipmunks have almost a dozen bird feeders to raid with 3 different types of seed! I guess they like chicken food too! A little variety in their diet! We love hand feeding them when the kats not around (and that stupid hawk that grabbed my chippy last year)
