Hi,my 8 week old mallard (one of 3) seems completely fine except the last two days he's got a hoarse sounding quack. It's been rainy and cool here in NY , and I leave them outside in a playpen all day then they come in at night. The water I fill the pool with comes from the hose...maybe too cold? They are almost fully feathered now...all but their heads. Any help would be greatly appreciated [IMG]

That's just what a male duck sounds like - girls quack, boys sound raspy like they have laryngitis. [IMG]

But he sounded the same as the others 2 days ago....and they all three have some green feathering on the head...now I'm confused....[IMG]
