Do ducks go into coop at night?

well just got some roans and peking ducks first time raising them.. have 12 all together..how long before u can put outside? are they good eating meat and eggs? what do they like to eat? info on them woul like..thanks

Oh boy. I have 12. I was going to wait until 6 weeks but @3.5 weeks they got their 4th and final home upgrade to outside. They were just growing too fast and I couldn't keep things clean. It was so nice instantly

Mine start milling around the duck house door just before dark. If I don't show up to walk them into the house while singing "the duck house song," they walk in by themselves and are not comfortable until the door in shut. Today I left the door shut on mistake. When I came out a bit after dark, they were very unsettled. As soon as I got the door open they shot in and jabbered until I got the door fastened. Silly nillies! Some say they are creatures of habit but I think they are also fairly intelligent.
