Do ducks not lay around this time?

my ducks lay all the time i have pekins. they are running loose and make nests and hatch babies all year. so if you are looking to get more ducks that lay all winter go with the pekins. and also they are huge and can be eatin if you would like. i dont eat mine so i dont know how they taste
