Do ducks return home?

If there are wild ducks on a pond and they fly south will they return to the same pond?

A pair of mallards nest at our pond every year. I don't know that they are the same ones for sure, but they seemed less worried about our dogs swimming around after the first couple years so I think they are the same pair.
