In all seriousness, it's the bright color + bigger mass + that moves. I am a tiny person but when I wear a bright shirt, they notice. They get out of my way faster. ducks do not care for things that appear big or things hovering above them (like an umbrella) and when the thing is colored brightly it appears even larger.
