Do EE's have feathered legs

Was just wondering do EE's ever have feathered legs.

Maybe a bantam EE. I haven't seen a standard EE with featherd legs, but that doesn't mean it never happens.

EE can be any cross because it is not a standard breed. My EE's have featherd legs.

Generally speaking, EEs should be clean legged. I know folks lean towards every cross breed is an EE, but that is not the case imo. The original EE fowl brought into America did not have feathers on their legs that I am aware of.

Since there is no standard for EE and the term is used for any cross that lays colored eggs that means they could have feathered legs or not. Most don't seem to but all my bantam EE are crossed with d'uccle at some point since their breeder also kept pure d'uccles so all my bantam EE have feathered legs. What else would you like to call all the blue egg laying mutts if they aren't true EE?

I have what I thought was an EE.. she has muffs, beard, pea comb and slate legs and lays a light brown egg.

We could call them psuedo EEs or PEEs for short.

I got a bantam hatchery EE with a stray leg feather here and there. She seems to pluck them out like a lady tweezing her eyebrows.
