Do eggs always move & always cheep before a pip?

I noticed ours moving and peeping yesterday (day 20) but always manage to convince myself that I'm just seeing and hearing things, it's just my imagination...

I was thrilled when Skip let me know last night around 8 that we had our first zip.

What kind of eggs are you waiting on? Ours are Silver Spangled Hamburgs.

I placed my in the egg cartons and I rarely saw them move.....although I labeled what each egg was and put the writing in the front so I could see it and only one egg turned around while in the egg carton. They hatched beautifully...still waiting on five more today!

Sometimes they don't make a sound until they have piped the egg. I have had some not make a sound until they were out of the egg. Try to keep your self busy for a few hours and then go back to the bator, if you don't your neck is going to hurt!!

My lone egg(welsummer) is under my broody, she had three eggs but broke two.
now I'm trying to be patient but all of this talk about dancing eggs is getting me more excited!
