just wondering.

A friend gave me some guinea eggs and they smelled alittle stronger than my chickens eggs...also the shells are very hard and the yolk broke when i cracked them. They might have frozen in the bottom shelf of the fridge..duh.

I don't think guinea eggs taste any different than chicken eggs. But yes the shells are generally harder then chicken egg shells.

Actually though I do think that free-range guinea eggs are healthier then even free-range chicken eggs. Because I always see my guineas out in the field eating more bugs, grass, and seeds then the chickens.

We've never eaten just guinea eggs though, we normally mix them in with the chicken eggs.
